We adopted these two sisters from "Crossing Paths". An organization that
finds dogs in kill shelters and fosters them untill they can find them a home.
They came from a shelter in Alabama. They loaded them into a van and brought them as far as Gettysburgh Pa. (only 3 1/2 hours from here)
They are Great Pyrnees, Anatolian Shepard mix. They seem like they are going to be great dogs, very fast learners, sweet as can be and we are thrilled to get them.
They are live stock gaurdian dogs and will keep predators away from our chickens and turkeys

The dog in the first picture looks like she will keep salesman off your property as well. She looks pretty serious!

Cute dogs Rescue dogs are the best we have two. The Turkey in picture next to Pear looks like he is not to sure about the protection. Look the way he eyeing and leaning away from the dog.

Looks like you got yourself a great pair of dogs. I do not know anything about Anatolian Shepards, but Great Pyrenees are a magnificent breed. We lost our Great Pyrenees last Fall, and I still think of her every day. She was my shadow when I was home, following me everywhere I went. It was a stronger bond than with any dog I've ever owned. She lived to almost 13, a long time for a big dog. She was a family-loving dog like her predecessor, a golden retriever, but also a great protector of her "flock".

Best of luck to you!
