We are in the process of raising funds for adopting two children from Lesotho, Africa. If you are like me, I had no idea where Lesotho was and what kind of country it is. It is a small country completely surrounded by South Africa. It is a 4th world country with the least amount of any socioeconomic development. It is a beautiful country with wonderful people. Friends are running an orphanage in Maseru, and we plan to visit them when we go to meet our children. Who knows, they may even come from their orphanage.
What I am wondering is if you may have pens or items lying around which you no longer need or have been in stock for too long and are looking for a good cause to send it to. If you are interested in helping in anyway, please let me know.
All of my pen sales are going to our calling to adopt and we our selling many of our things to make it happen.
If we are able to raise more money than is necessary, we hope to give a nice gift to the mission of the orphanage called Beautiful Gate in Maseru.
