Bought this lathe in 1993 to turn pens and the like. My son took an interest in turning, and boring out a recorder body is too large a task for this little guy. I bought a Jet Midi for that. Would like to gift the lathe and accessories to someone starting and tight on cash. Maybe you have a niece or nephew or grandkid.
A countersink bit is the point for the live center. Bearing on the live center is crunchy and should be replaced. Otherwise. in very serviceable shape. That maple block is a jig to horizontally bore pen blanks. The body is extruded aluminum. The set of turning chisels are newer. Mandrels included, though one is pretty rusted over.
I'm in Charlotte but have a US sales territory that takes me around.
