do worm trails help or hender the apperance of pens? i have made some pens out of spalted pecan and they look great but i turned some really wavy and curly looking ash today and it looks to me like a [B)] on these blanks,no extra fill except some c.a. t.i.a.

I like natural inclucions of all types in all turnings. Nothing gives more character to the wood (unless of course you have a kick @$$ burl[]). JMO

At one time I filled every occlusion and void.
Now I believe that what is there hen I find it was meant to be.
Other wise I would turn pen out of the stuff they sell as paneling and "furniture" at wally world.
