Greetings Group,

I'm seeking your advice on the Oneway Termite tool. I'm getting real close to commiting to purchasing the kit for $79.00 but thought I'd see how you all feel about the tool.

Anyone here own one? Used one?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Don't have any idea how well they work but looks very promising when I last visited WoodCraft.

I also looked at the Crown Beaver and I am actually leaning toward that more. Check Charles' prices on that [;)]

I bought a termite tool first and could not get it to work for me so I traded it to a friend who had a beaver tool and could not get it to work for him.

Long story short; The beaver works like a charm for me and the termite works well for my buddy so we're both happy.

I have one and find it excellent for turning end grain. There's a bit of a learning curve, but well worth the time.
I use it mostly on small boxes and bowls. Its of no use for spindle turning (pens) and not great on cross grain cutting. But for end grain hollowing it's tops. That is what its designed for.

I haven't got one but I will at some point in the future. I have a couple of friends who use them and swear by them. $79 sounds like a good price too. Be sure and give us a review.
