When I was stationed at Fort Knox, my daughter was born there and the front door of our quarters was 3 door from the perimeter fence. I remember our very early morning alerts and the early flights around the bullion depository. I was an exciting time for me, finally being stationed stateside and my daughters birth. I do NOT remember anything spooky.

I am completely confused now. I live in Murray, KY, some 200+ miles from Fort Knox. I have lived in Louisville, KY some 25 miles from Ft. Knox, I also lived in Radcliff, KY on the boundary of Ft. Knox. I have been in several towns in Maine and know for a fact that nowhere in Maine is anywhere close to Kentucky where Ft. Knox is located, unless we are to believe the Lady from WI and her geography. I am still confused, but not to worry too much as that is my normal state.

I wondered about it also and decided that he owns a house 7 minutes from Ft. Knox. I am probably wrong but it makes sense to me and I do not get a headache trying to think more about it.:smile:

LOL Fort Knox was the a base located on the Penobscot River during the Spanish and Civil war. It is in the town of Prospect overlooking the Penobscot River across from Bucksport, Maine! Trust me...we may not have Gold, but according to Ghost Hunters it is haunted if you believe in that stuff. Personally I always thought it was a great place for laser tag:biggrin::biggrin:

There's a house near me that used to be a slave hiding house and I never really thought haunted could be real till I went to a garage sale there. Scared me silly in that house! Told wife if she buys something there I move out.
