Just finished a pen using the Sindora Burl I bought from Joe Schneider last week. I added some dyed Box Elder burl for color. I really like the Sindora. Vulcanized Paper

A google search tells me it comes from Asia - Different varieties in different countries, but mostly China, Cambodia, Vietnam. It's in the Pea family (Fabaceae) - Sorry, I had a minor in Botany in College.
