Olive thin stock

[Fibonacci]

I am looking for 1/2" or so thick slabs of olive. Does anyone know of a better way to get them than to buy spindle stock from somewhere like Rockler and resaw it?

I was hoping for 3"-4" wide pieces that are 6-ish" long.
