old delta drill press

hey there all, long time no post...

i just got a new (to me) floor standing delta drill press. haven't checked out when it was manufactured, but i'm guessing it's at least 20-30 yrs old. nice and sturdy, still runs nice, a little waggle in her, but I'm guessing with a little TLC I can get it running true again. i'm curious about where to get a replacement belt for it. is this something i can find at like lowes or should i consider switching to one of the link belts?? any opinions? thanks.

Try a NAPA automotive store. Just get your length and width. They have a tremendous assortment.

I second the "Yes" on the link belt!! I am slowly switching all my equipment over to them. Quieter, smoother operation than with a v-belt. Less vibration means longer bearing and bushing life for the machines and also more accurate machining!

Link Belt, is a very good option. about $25 for four or five feet at harbor freight.
