I have entered BT3Central's not-quite-annual 2x6 challenge.

Rules are pretty straight forward, buy a standard construction grade 2x6x8' and turn it into something that no one would recognize as a 2x6.

Last time I made a Pool Cue Rack (See Pics) and got my butt handed to me. So give me some ideas. Can be turned, non-turned, toy, or bandsaw box.

Give me some ideas guys.

Turn it into a pile of sawdust. No one would ever recognize it as a 2x6.:tongue:

garden mulch

If you are VERY careful with bandsawing and drilling , you should be good for 1386 Sierra`s .

Cheap pen blanks too

Run it through a chipper and make garden mulch

I'd start by resawing into 1 X 3's (well almost 1 X 3) then run them through a thickness planer to about half inch thick and plane the edges. Then build a unique bird house. I actually have a lot of fun building bird houses and it can take more thinking and effort than you might believe.

What were some of the other examples the other time you entered. This should give you an idea where to start looking.
