Oregon myrtlewood is real easy to find here since i live in Oregon.
around christmas time the local wood store gets a bunch of turning stock in. I can spend about 1 hour digging through their myrtlewood supply just to find 2 or 3 pieces.
this summer i went down to the coast for my yearly atv riding trip.
I spent more money down there due to hitting the oregon myrtlewood stores. good thing i have a extended cap truck cause the back was filled up with myrtlewood turning blanks.
I even found a board of spalted oregon myrtlewood.
I want to make some pens of it just haven't taken the time yet.
