Just ordered my 1/2 horse Jet 10 inch band saw from the local Rockler store.

You know, way back when I never though I'd ever be able to afford good shop equipment. But patience is winning out once again. My pens are finally starting to sell and word of mouth is taking over and I can afford some new pieces of equipment now.

I bought that saw a year & a half ago,and it works really nice for making pen blanks.

Someday,I hope to learn how to make small bandsaw boxes.

I'll bet you're going to love it!

Congrats Parson! still limping along use and make do equipment myself.......well the new lathe was a major update! Seems they changed a bit form 1940!






Landon!!!! What are you cooking up? Something fun no doubt!
 
Update: it came in this week and I picked it up and assembled it this evening. It's a dandy little band saw!

I was being eaten alive by mosquitoes so I will do the final adjustments and cut with it tomorrow morning.

I'm a happy boy.
