Eventually just throw them away, my first idea for them was leave them in an area that they could be repurposed. Then I decided I didn't want to be seen driving by a drug dealers house and sitting out boxes.
Put the shavings in them from wood blanks just in case there is a void. Then have matching wood shavings for a colour match repair. If all goes well and I don't have any more of that blank I toss them.

Everyday I'm vertical is a great day
I use them to mix my epoxy on for glueing in the tubes and such. I'm at the point now though that i'm throwing them away cause i have so many. I do keep some of the larger ones for certain kinds of exotic wood, resin or tru-stone shavings for mixing up a resin blank of shavings.
Since 90% of mine are unceremoniously ripped open, they go straight in the trash.
It takes to long for my fingers to get the zip lock portion open. I find if you tear the bag just below the "zipper" it tears in a nice clean line with little effort.
