My surgery is on my anniversary. :eek: Uh Oh! I was wondering why my wife has been a bit snippy. With all the pain and pills I knew it was coming up but had no choice on the surgery date.

Looking for suggestions here. I can't do a lot because, well, I walk like Quasimodo and have to sit down every few feet. She keeps saying it is alright but the face tells a different story.

Get her drunk....... :eek: No that won't work, How about having roses delivered the day before, and go out for a nice dinner at the best place in town that night, to make up for the bad surgery date.
 
Take her out the night before. You can't eat 12 hrs prior to surgery so this benefits you too.

Last yr we did a show on HER birthday. The only saving grace was a grandchild was born about 20 miles away on her birthday so I had to man the booth alone. Sacrifices we make!

Mark, Why not make her a pen? Just make sure it isn't a sharp pointed one <LOL> Something along the lines of a Panache, but glut the threads together.

Roses maybe nice necklace or dinner out and a nice card and you are home free. She also could be worried about her sweetie and dosen't care about the anniversary.
