Officially summer in Friendswood, Tx

Some parts of the country have had dangerous and deadly weather (my son is in it now) and my prayers and thoughts go out to them;

But, here in Friendswood (halfway between Houston and Galveston) it was over 90 degrees today (and in my shop)! In my book, that is the first day of summer. It could be tough this summer.

89 today in Sacramento and the warm up will continue through Thursday. I think i saw were the record for today was 112F

Due to be in the 80's here this weekend after the nice snow Saturday. We had several teams deployed to the mid-west...taking care of the many friends I, and all of us have there. God bless them all, they need and deserve it.

Another record-breaking high today here for the third in a row. We had a "cold front" late this afternoon, so the rest of the week will be nice!

May The Lord be with those and their families that are experiencing such terrible forces of nature in other parts of our country this week.

It was in the mid 80s last week but now in the low 70s. Pretty nice but I know it's not going to last. The heat didn't used to bother me but the older I get I notice I don't do as well as back then. My wife and friends just say I'm getting cranky.

Definitely been warm here in Texas, but it sure did fee lnice this morning. Was probably in the 60's
