How many/ if any of you have the PSI Off Center Chucking System? Do you use it often? Do you like it? Recommend it? I cannot find a single review of it anywhere.

Thanks,

Joseph

I am surprised more people have not commented, but perhaps they do not own the off center chuck. Makes sense.

I ordered mine on Saturday. Should be here sometime this week. I normally get my stuff from Pen Kits - WoodTurningz in 2 days.

I certainly will Mr Davis. I am pretty sure that that was one of my last big purchases for a while. I bought the Off Center Chuck, and the Beall Pen Wizard all in the same weekend. :-) All I am going to be doing now is making my pens, and selling them to reimburse me a little. Oh well, these will both be fun to work with, I have a feeling.

Have a large craft show coming up at the end of the month. Hopefully will be able to have used the PW and the Off Center Chuck and make some to sell.

More to come,

Joseph

psi excentric chuck.

Do you like it? Does it work well?

Joseph

This is a twofer. In that it has two fixtures with different uses. One fixture is designed for offsetting with a chuck. I got it to use this for spider turnings.

The other fexture appeats to be designed to put offset facets (3, 4, 6, 12) on turnings that can be mounted on "D" pen mandrels or on a 3/8 by 16 threaded stud. Have not used this as yet.

the 3, 4, 6, 12 offset seems like a "therming" demo I saw at SWAT - but using one blank at a time...and without support at the tailstock end.

I watched some YouTube videos on the off center chuck. Looks really cool. I have added it to my wish list. My latest toy is the Sorby micro spiraling tool. Just came in today.

I am looking forward to see what you make with your new chuck.

As am I. Just received confirmation yesterday. The new off center chuck will arrive Thursday. Lucky for me, its an off day :-D

Just drove up to the post office and picked up the off center chuck. Now, its time to go to the shop and play.
