....I received these in the same box as the .416 Rigbys. You may be able to figure out what the bottom case is based on. The upper case..really weird. I had never heard of it before. It is not a pretty pen by any means but it was a challenge trying to figure out how to make it function!. For anyone looking for a oddball cartridge pen, this is it! Be well......Jan

....not even close. I will disclose the cartridges on Monday. Have a great day Smitty! Hint....bottom case is 2.5" long.

.458 Winchester Mag. bottom. or maybe a 45-70 or 45-90 varient or a 50-110 Maybe even a sharps 50-90 I only looked at this one because Tom Sellick had one in the Quigly Down Under movie but it does have 2.5 in brass.. There are more possibilities than you can imagine.

I thought it might be the sharps...the 50-110 which is the first case is only 2.4 inches. But when I decided it was a "Buffalo" gun cartridge I found a big bunch but they all seemed to be a little short. At first I missed that it was a rimmed case which is why I said .458 after I noticed the rim I got in the right ball park.
