Wanted Odd taps and dies

Hi. I am looking for odd size taps and dies which you are no longer using.
I have nearly all triple start sizes and a lot of double starts, but if you are willing to sell those cheap, I make be interested.
I prefer plug and bottoming taps. I also prefer American made taps and dies.

Some of the ones I would be particularly interested in are:


.450 x26 (sharpie) - both tap and die.
M8 x .75 taps (dies too)
M8 x 1.0 taps (dies too)
M7 x .5 tap and die
M7.5 x .75 tap and die
M8 x .7 die (tap too if you have one)
M9.4 x .5 tap and die
M8.5 x .75 tap and die
M8.5 x 1.0 tap and die

Anything else odd you may have.

I have a significant collection of taps and dies, I just want to collect other oddball sizes.

When the Sharpie group buy happened there were no dies that I recall. Just the taps but perhaps my memory is off. I only have the one set of plug and bottom taps so can't help you with that.

Pete, if you're thinking of the "Sharpie" Group Buy that I organized, you are correct that it was taps only. There might have been others who added dies to the order.

Bumping this back to the top Incase anyone has come across anything they want to get rid of. Fyi. I'm only interested in high quality taps and dies. I've prefer American made ones, but I've found some decent ones made in Poland, also German made are decent.
