i got the novus one and two and want to know which i should use first?

The Novus 1 isn't an abrasive like the #2 and #3, it is a cleaner.
Not sure what's in it.. it isn't something we're likely to use for
making pens like you would use the Novus2. I use the #2 after
sanding and just before the Hut Ultra Gloss polish.

i used novus 2 then 1 came out just fine i post pic soon.

It will come out fine. But as far as penturning, you may not find
a difference when using it or not. If the pen is dirty, it will clean it.
If not, it won't . But then a damp rag would work, too.
If you think of these polishing compounds/liquids as sandpapers,
the Novus 3 might a medium grit paper, while the Novus 2 would be
a fine grit paper. The Novus 1 would be a dusting cloth.
As far as I can tell, the Novus 1 doesn't really belong in the same
lineup with the other two, because it misleads people into thinking
that it is almost the same product, only much finer.
In truth, they might only share a brand name.
