Just picked up the Nova live center kit and was wondering if anyone that has one has made some cool attachments for it? Soft touch? Finished bowl support? Seems like the possabilitys are endless with the morise taper or bolt / threaded rod attachment.

I have not but as you suggest the options are endless. Curious to see what you come up with. Sometimes situations call for something specific you can't buy, or realize you can make it much cheaper. Are you thinking of things like the Rubber Chucky offerings? Not sure but I don't believe they are compatible with the Nova Live Center but might be worth asking.
Didn't know about this vendor, cool stuff but a little pricey.
I was asking about homemade items similar to what this vendor sells.

The center "pins" at *slightly* tapered.

I've only done a couple of specialty pieces - short pieces of HDPE that I use as a pen-press, and one for tailstock support when I don't want to use a point (if the bottom of a bowl is thin, for example)
