Nova G3 chuck question?

I am looking into buying a Nova G3 chuck but have a question. At the present I do all of my turning on a Jet metal lathe. The thread on the spindle is 1-1/2"-8. What is the thread in the chuck itself, not the inserts they sell but the inside of the chuck? I am going to build an adapter if I have to but was wondering.

The internal thread on the Nova chucks, ie the one that accepts the inserts, is M38x3.5.
