Finally broke down and ordered a G3 chuck for my birthday. Ordered the reconditioned G3 for 89 bucks. Ordered last Monday night and paid the USPS priority shipping hoping I would get by the weekend. It arrived Thursday and looks brand new, not a scratch on it. Unfortunately, I did not get to try out over the weekend.

Did it come with the woodworm screw and inserts? I've looked at these quite a few times, but I couldn't tell from the teknatool site.

It came with the woodworm screw and the 50mm jaws. The insert was extra, about $20. Their website does not help much on what they come with, etc..... That's one reason I have held off so long. Like I said this looks like a brand new chuck, box and all. Everything was individually wrapped in plastic and oiled down REAL good.
 
I picked up a referb SN2 from them a few weeks ago. Set up just like yours. After I bought the insert for my Jet 1642, it was obvious I needed another SN2 for the 1014...good thing they were in stock! Mine has been great to use so far, solid and well built.
 
I've been eyeing these chucks for a while. Knowing that they come with everything but the insert helps. Thanks.
