Has anyone replaced the controller for this lathe? Cost? I'm looking at a used lathe that seems to have a non responsive controller. The guy selling it is in a bind and I may still be interested if the repair isn't too bad. Any links to where I can find parts would also help.
Danny once upon a time I had to call their customer support in regards to an older model DVR. I don't remember the costs (several hundred dollars I believe) but they were helpful with what to look for and what was available. I didn't have to replace it but was finding out worse case scenarios if anything happened with the lathe. I do think they were M-F support working days.
I called their customer service, $399 for new electronics. I think I'll have to pass on this one. Too much to invest without knowing the condition of the motor.
