Nova DVR low voltage message

I think this has been discussed, but I can't find the thread. My DVR XP shuts itself off under load while turning bowls. The display reads low voltage. Have to push the off button and then re-start the lathe. This gets annoying and happens pretty often. I called their support number for the U.S. yesterday and the lady said she would page a tech. I got no phone call back. Maybe today. Any help?

Youprobably have too much of a drop from service by either having too small of wire or running off a inadaquate extension cord.

Today Teknatool called back. Joel from their service department was extremely helpful and even followed up his help with a call. He e-mailed me a PDF technical service bulletin that allows you to lower the threshold at which the machine gives you that message. I plan to try it at home tonight.
