Ok all, i need some advice! I have switched to dilling on the lathe, and I love it. However, I would like to drill my acrylic bottle stoppers on the lathe too. These are from a PTownSubbie mold and are 1.4". I have a Nova Pin jaw set, a 50mm jaw set, and just bought a nova long nose jaw set thinking it would hold it so I can drill. But the long nose jaw set and the 50mm will not go small enough and the pin jaws are too small. Can anyone suggest a jaw set that will hold it for drilling?

Thanks for any advice you have!

It is not 1.5" Sorry I was not clear enough. The mold itself is 1.4" which means the actual bottlestopper blank is 1.34" (33mm) when the PR dries, thus the 50mm is to large to clamp down on it.

I have read about this issue before where there are specific sizes that the jaws wont cover due to the lack of Overlap in the sizes. Could you wrap some tape around the piece to make it thicker, or maybe a couple of thick rubberbands?
