I have an almost new (used a little by my uncle) Nova chuck that I probably will never use.
If anyone is interested in trading for some higher quality pen kits, I can take a picture.
I'm just seeing if there is any interest and what trades are out there.

I was interested until reading the specs. This chuck is direct threaded for a 1"-8 spindle otherwise I would have made an offer. The lathe I need an extra chuck for is 1 1/4"-8. This would be a great chuck for someone with a mini/midi lathe looking for an inexpensive chuck or maybe a spare body. Don't be too quick to dismiss the tommy bars. They are not too hard to get used to. Spindle locks or creative handle wedging make near one handed operation possible. If anyone watches Carl Jacobson on Youtube, I think this is the chuck he uses.
 
Not interested in selling, sorry. I would like some of the kits I wouldn't normally purchase.
 
Nothing particular, just the nicer upscale type stuff. I would prefer to stay away from gold, but wouldn't rule it out if it's the right kit.

I'm guessing this isn't a good chuck?

It's not bad at all. It only fits on certain lathes though and has two bars to tighten the chuck instead of a key. Google nova midi chuck and you'll see the new value and info.
