My continuing relationship with a fisherman in Hawaii led to this project. Most of the order were new items and required lots of thinking. I'm not against thinking but this took more effort when coupled with today's troubles Etc.
The group of nine "cedar plugs lures" are purpleheart, red Zebrawood and Zebrawood. 5"-7"
New for me to make are poppers and the person wanted "float on water light". I selected western red cedar and got to work. The red ones are 7" while the blue/black ones are 9".
All lures are finished with six coats of thin CA, lightly sanded with 400 grit and buffed in the lathe. They are smooth to the touch and glossy.
Back to pens soon as the Gallery is open and people are buying again.
