I'm making some things for my 2 youngst granddaughters, 2 & 1. I want to paint them in bright colors and want nontoxic paint incase they decide to chew on the pieces. Any suggestions or where to look for the paint

While they do make special "Non-Toxic" paint for toys , most rattle can paints are lead and cad free , the only thing you need to do is to let the solvents out gas for a week or so . I use Krylon or Painters Touch rattle can paints for the wood toys I make , they state on the cans they are safe for toys .

Milk paint is also very safe and all natural. I just started working with it and it is very handy. You just add water and mix up just what you need. I just cast some in resin, its in the soyp section

Wal-mart and most any hobby store have hundreds of colors of hobby paints which as I recall are all child safe...
