Just a reminder, Nolan goes under the knife today. Think possitive thoughts for him and pray that the surgery is successful.

Thanks,
Mike & Linda

We have had him in our thoughts and prayers all day long.
Heck I even prayed for the doc to have the skills to get-er-done right the first time.

Got a quick email from Nolan's wife and she said he is doing really well and the surgery went well. Once he starts to get bored and feels like setting up, I would expect to see him on here.

Now let's all hope for no more pain![:)]

I am sure all the prayer helped...now I wonder how soon he can get up and start sawing again [:D][}:)] lol.

Just kidding Nolan...take as long time as you need and focus on getting well.

Thanks to all for the well wishes, It is nice to have such support from my online family of friends. Thanks Mike for posting this update. Just to add to this, I feel better today than I have felt in a long time. My pain is today about what my best days used to be. Hopefully this continues. I havent got to speak to the doc today as I have some questions on what he did as I was only supose to be non-weight bearing for 3-4 days but now I cant walk for 4 weeks. No biggie just wondering what they did. Got a new screw to cast but I think maybe this one is only good for a paper weight.[:D] Please to anyone I have forgotten or been slow replying to your wood needs I am sorry I will get to it as soon as humanly possible. And to wet everyones wissle I secured roughly 1100 lbs of DI burl and the 500 lbs of Cocobolo burl. The cocobolo burl is still in customs and the DI burl should be heart sortly. Hopefully fast enough for Dario[:D] If I could only get my part done for him[:(!]

Hey Nolan, It's great to hear that everything is going good and that the pain is a ton better. It sounds like prayers answered to me. As the saying goes: "Walking lightly and carry a big burl" or something like that. Get well soon.

Nolan, forget the wood orders for now and continue to heal........and put me on the list for both burls [}:)][:D]

Seriously, glad to hear you're doing well.

Nolan, hopefully you will heal soon and start feeling somewhat normal again with no pain. As far as the Burls they can wait your health is much more important than some burls are. Thats from the good voice......

Hey Nolan,
Good to see you posting. I pray that you heal up quick and get back to a normal pain free routine. Take it easy and we'll talk burls when you're back on your feet.

Nolan

That sounds terrific that you are feeling better! We are all pulling for your recovery!

Did you need me to run down to the customs office and bring you the wood? You did say 800 pounds right?

Robert

Glad to hear you are feeling better, Nolan. Just pay attention to what the doctor tells you, the wood is not worth wrecking what the surgery accomplished. WE CAN WAIT.

Hey Nolan, I have an order I need to place with you so I thought I would place it here as I see you are reading and psoting, I need

One healthy, relatively pain free Nolan back on this feet and doing well. [:D][:D][;)]
Hope things turn out better than you expected in the long run.

Nolan,

Glad to hear things went well for you. DO NOT RUSH YOUR HEALING!!!!!! Please do everything the doctor asks of you. Like everyone else, I am drooling over the DI Burl, but I would rather you healthy and walking pain free than any piece of burl in the world!

Nolan- glad to hear there are early indications of success!!! Now don't go and scr&w up the doc's good work by trying to push things to early!! You've already heard it several times, but a good recovery is much more important than providing the next "fix" for us burl junkies......

Hi Nolan,

Glad to know all is well,, heal and listen to your body and what it tells you DAMHIKT.....but it makes a difference....and don't do like I did, I got hooked on buying over the internet, now I NEED to go back to work to pay for it all!![8D][8D]

All of my prayer's and best wishes to you nolan. coming from a person with ankle problems myself i really hope you get the very best results from your surgery and that each day forward is better than yesterday. take care my friend and follow doc orders and dont over do it.
