Nobody uses White Pine-except

Me! I was cutting this up for table legs and noticed the Red tint. That is the natural color of the wood. No dye here. The center band isn't a good fit, but that can be fixed. The Pine is so soft it didn't mill well. Or maybe it's me!

I have tried pine and you are right it is very soft.
