No Mandrel Turning

With all the talk about turning between centers I finally converted.
I must admit it works very well.
I made bushings that go into my collets and run on the live center at the tailstock.
It turns very accurate and feels very rigid.
I know Lee will be proud, he has converted another to the darkside.

It is a Grizzly model 0584. That is the Hardinge collet package I had mentioned to you before. It works well, and it gives me a wide array of collet choices.
