Hmmm I know you can take some metals and write on a coarse paper.

I wonder how it will write on a glossy/coated paper.....

As the owner of an Italian car and past owner of Italian motorcycles as long as it does not require electricity it is a safe bet. I learned that electricity is not an Italian strong suit when I had to rewire a Moto Guzzi 850T.
