With the exception of needing something to turn copper black, my newest tool is done. This is similar to my last tool, however the copper ring is a tight friction fit, and underneath is a set screw that allows the cutter shaft to be removed and swapped for different cutting ends. I'll be making some addtional cutter shafts in the coming week or two. Also the material of choice is Corian, heavier yes, but once the cutting end is on the tool rest, the additional weight isnt really noticable.

If anyone knows of any common household item that will turn copper black, feel free to chime in on that too.
