Hello everyone and thanks for accepting me.
I'm a semi-new pen turner. I used to turn pens in high school a good 8 years ago, they weren't great, and finally got back into it. I've only done a couple of pieces for family but so far loving it. Padauk, purple heart, and cocobolo are some of my favorites to work with, and just 2 days ago I started using acrylic.
I joined because of everything I've learned from this site. From painting the inside of acrylic blanks, pen shapes, to learning how not to bond latex gloves to my hand with ca glue (don't use latex).
My "shop" is currently a storage room that all my tools and equipment are in. I roll it into the car port and enjoy the breeze, really looking forward to upgrading soon, I've learned a few things from you guys dust collection posts.
