Glued some scraps together and made this Tea light this morning. Anyone from New Zealand here ? I recognize the Kiwi bird but am wondering if that is an emblem or something else between the N and Z .
Took these shots in my shop with me cell phone ..

I think the emblem in between the N and Z is a representation of the indigenous Maori fertility carving.

That sure looks like what is .
 
It is Maori Tiki appears on many things such as ladies necklaces as badge on a Coat also as part of Carving on Meeting House's, & wood panels inside the building and the legends of the Tribes genealogy. Not generally as fertility symbol but any thing is possible in Maori Mythology. Bazz
