This is my workbench that I built about a month ago. I still have a few minor things to do, IE cubby's above the lathe for storage etc. Its a 16' x 24" bench in the garage. Where the bandsaw is now, its sunk so I can also mount my chop saw there and its level with the bench. There are three pull out drawers beneath the lower bench with one-way casters on them. The pen drawer has a plastic insert from my truckbox which adds to organization and another level of storage. My table saw is built on a box with a dust drawer, also on hinges and a roll away caster. It rolls to a 45 then locks so I can make ripcuts out the garage door. But neatly tucks away when im done.

As you can see Ive almost already outgrown it  Comments and critiques welcome. If you think of something I could add by all means let me know!

Special thanks to the wife who has allowed me to not only let me get into pen turning recently, but let me build this bench and amass a few new tools that I "needed" (bench grinder, lathe, drill press) Yes, its true, to date I've only made 3 pens and working on the fourth, but hey, you gotta have that work area right guys????????????

Glad you liked it Mark, Thanks! And yes Hugh is only partially correct, its been on my mind for about 6 months...but I just got around to building it. I am going to add a "dc" system using some pvc with tee's to connect to a shop vac.
