I used to have a "free" website and maintained it with regular updates. Unfortunately "free" rarely lasts long and my free lunch came to an end.
Was given the opportunity of making monthly/yearly subscription but I declined. My website was really not used as a sales platform but more
as a place where I could showcase some of the woodwork that keeps me active. Prior to the website, I used to blog with the intent of displaying some of my work.
Fast forward to today and I've rediscovered that my blog is still in existence. Blogging is not for everyone and perhaps considered as "yesterday's technology" it still fits my needs perfectly. I can still share news/events with my woodworking friends. Call me cheap or old fashioned but I firmly
believe in using tools that one is comfortable with. Feel free to add to the conversation if blogging is something that you are still using today.
