My 7 year old gs wanted to turn some wood for the first time, so with the help of a couple of milk crates he was tall enough to reach the lathe. He asked when he could turn a pen now that he knows how, :D I guess I will be sharing time with him now.

Congrats Tom. Fifty years from now, he'll think back, 'yeah, my grandpa taught me that'. It doesn't get much better than that.

If I'm doing some turning without my face shield on he will get it for me to put on, He makes me be safe. Doggone it Rick, you may have hit on something there, I may have to talk to his GM. Jim, hes using a gouge, he can't learn the skew from me. He may have watched Jeremy(armyturner) last week when he was doing some turning here.[:D]

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you realize what you have done ??????

His life has change forever.

How will he like school?
When will he find a girlfriend?
When will he do sports?
Spend his weekly allocation buying kits !!!
Picking up wood all over the place !!!!
Rush to the shop as soon as his mother/wife will turn her back!!
If he gets maried, he will have a contract about turning time and shop allowance!!
He will never see a wood furniture the same way.
Reading woodcraft magazine at night under his sheets!
Showing off his work to everyone without any modesty !!!
Getting to sleep, dreaming that he is Russ Fairfield

Oh well, finally, what a great future yu gaved him[:D]
