I got pictures to go with the story as well

On Friday afternoon I was out with the wife going to all the garage sales in town, well we found one that had tools just as they were shutting down for the night. I saw a vacuum pump and asked but the lady didn't know if it was being sold or not, but I got a model number off it so I could do a little research on it.

I was back at the sale Sat morning about 30 minutes before they were supposed to open. The older gent was home and we talked about all sorts of things (mostly to do with the stuff he was selling and a couple things he had just picked up. When I asked him about the pump he said it was for sale and that he would give me a price when I had gotten everything together that I was going to buy. I grabbed a couple things for the wife and a couple small items for me and asked what the damages would be.

I wasn't expecting what I heard (little stuff was nothing really) but here he was ready to sell me a Gast 0823 vacuum pump that runs very smooth and looks to be in mint condition for $70. Needless to say I couldn't pay him fast enough, gotta like being in the right place at the right time.

It came with a box with a circuit board and a valve of some sort, but I doubt it will get used.
