No not a VS, but I could not pass up the deal! I'm keeping my Jet 1014 vs. and trying to unload my old craftsman or either just take the bed off and use it for a dedicated buffing station.
When you start making bigger chips, and if you swivel the head, consider a MT2 to MT2 adaptor to line it back up again. My dad has a General with swivel head, and wouldn't give up his adaptor for anything. Here's one from Packard woodworks as an example:
That's good to know, I've moved the headstock a few times for an adjustment and I can see where it could get just a little misaligned. One should be on its way soon!
