Hi, I'am Lee Foreman 62 just retired and new to pen turning. I have always enjoyed doing woodworking. Really enjoying turning would like to find any other turners that are in my area that would like to share information and might give me some guide lines. Live in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Lee, from far west Kentucky, to the addiction, sometimes referred to as the vortex. Be sure to give the library a good bit of time. The link is at the top of the page. You will find an article called Library Index. This covers tutorials on about anything pen making you can think of. You will also notice that there are articles listed by year. Much good info there as well. When these fail to answer your questions, by all means post it here. I have never seen one go unanswered very long. You might also want to give this thread a good look. Grab some wood, make some shavings and have fun all the while being safe.

Welcome from Waycross,Ga. you have a vast amount of knowledge to pick from in this forum enjoy the vortex and remember you need more wood all the time.
 
Welcome Lee. You've found a great sit for sharing and helping. Don't know exactly were you're located in Fla but there are lots of turners in Fla. I'm sure you'll get hookedup.
