New , to me, segmenting material

Not really a show off pen , just a very simple segments using some vulcanized paper I bought. It turns pretty much like resin and I even cut it into strips on my table saw. I'm very happy with look and will definitely be using more of it.

I got it at Amazon, they are 5 x 10 and they are .039 thick. Lots of different colors there, seems the most common use is for spacer material for knife makers. Picture attached as to the one I bought.

I think it would bend a little, but I feel it would break if bent excessively.

I don't think you can alter the colors in the pack I bought , but they have other packages with some different colors and I also found a place on Etsy where you can buy just the colors you want. I didn't save that search but should be easy to find.

Having never used it before, I opted for CA, I had no issues. You can not see through it whatsoever, tubes will not show through it.

Thanks John, I have quite a bit of dyed Vaneer , it seems to multiply almost as fast as pen blanks do [emoji51]

FYI found a much cheaper source, knifemaking.com they even have giraffe bone pen blanks, that's a new one to me.
