hey Rich, my wife used to make jewelry out of that stuff. It's cool but only about 1/8 inch thick from what I remember. I don't know how you would glue it either. But then pens have been made out of stanger and more difficult things to work with I guess. Good luck
 
Rich.. very interesting ideas... especially for accent bands or center bands.
"...but I can't find the thickness." The website says they are 1-1/2" square by 7" long. Plenty big enough for any pen.

As Rifleman said, I would be concened that they have such a low melting point and soften at 140 degrees F. They would likely get distorted the fisrt time they were left in a hot car.

Very cool, though. Probably worth experimenting with a little.
