I recently bought some mini-pine cone blanks from Phil Weiss here on IAP (pkweiss) and am very pleased with them. There's plenty of pine cones in the blanks, and not being a blank caster I can't tell you what it is, but something that gives them great depth and sparkle (great job, Phil!).

Two are on a gunmetal bolt action and two on sierras.

C & C welcome.

John,

Thank you for your kind words. Beautiful job turning the blanks.

Phil

Cody, thank you. The Sierra kits do go nicely with the colors in the blanks.

Mark, I appreciate it! The blue does have a lot of depth.

Brian, as always, I appreciate your comments, my friend. Hope all is well.

Phil, my pleasure. You did a great job with the blanks. I didn't have to paint the tubes on the blue, but the green and red ones did require it. I used a light green for the green, and purple for the red one.

Tom, much appreciated! The green does have nice coloration.
