Very nice pen and blank. What wood is it? It looks like some very old oak I got from a 1800's barn that was torn down.

a buddy of mine gave me a log he said his brother brought it to him from arizona said it was ironwood i crosscut it alot af sharping of tools plan to crosscut the rest today
