I plan to use it very infrequently for pen blanks.
Sermons get cut short when people start falling asleep or I get hungry. Or both. ;-)

One of my benches. The big one has a bunch of stuff on it.
Truth be told I keep the shop more picked up than the house. Too many kids in there.

Dan - attaboy! After extensive research, that saw has been determined to be the next miter saw in another shop (mine). Please put a "to do" on your smart phone to give an update in a couple months.

I just bought one also and love it but a word to the wise. Be sure to extend the top fence out before tipping it to the side. It will shear off the dust collector chute. The good thing they are only eight bucks for the replacement!

I've got a switch acting up in the old one I have. Maybe it will finally bite the bullet sometime this year so I can "need" one too haha. Congrats!

I've got that same saw-had it for about 8 months and I love it. I put mine on a stand from Dewalt--the great thing about Amazon is the reviews on products--Bosch makes a stand for it, but it's silly expensive--the user reviews on Amazon pointed me to the Dewalt stand and it is great. I put a laser blade guide on mine--really works well, that's the one thing I wished the Bosch had on it. Great saw otherwise!!

Very nice, Dan. Bosch makes great tools! I've had my SCMS 10" Makita for years with nary a problem. I might cut pen blanks into full lengths on it, but that's it. I have a 16" mini max BS and a 9" Ryobi 9" BS for the rest of my pen blank saw work. I do have some other Bosch power tools and no problems with any of them either.
