Turned a few pens about 25 years ago, then once in a while since then but just got busy recently and have turned several. Made the nautical pen for my son for Christmas. He lives on the west coast and is in the RCN so it seemed a good fit. I've recently tried a couple of things for the first time namely using CA for pen finish, and I'm quite pleased with the result, and just tried a couple of pens with acrylic blanks instead of wood. Quite pleased with that too.

Looking forward to picking up ideas from others. Never to old to learn something new!

Great pen - glad you rekindled the fire!

My son and daughter-in-law are spending the holiday in Millet just south of you. Small world!

Good to see you Bob. You'll enjoy the heck out of IAP...a great community.
Did ya ever hear of a little town called Peace River? : ) Lived north of there for four years...loved it up there.
