Heavly cracked and bent Magnolia. How many pens in this one? Not to mention several Mountain Laurel, pine, Maple, Oak and Poplar. The neighbors Black Cherry, old and loaded with burls, stands tall and proud and kept all of it's appendages.

Here's a couple more. The one in the back of the boat trailer is a spalted, split sugar maple. Or, was one. The second photo is my deck with 12" + on it. I was lucky, only lost power for 24 hours. A lot in the state will be out for a week or more.

70 today and tomorrow. I like this time of year.

Some folks around here say it is going to be the worst winter ever.

I hear the Keys beconing to me.................................

That ain't no lie. Starting with an all day excursion on Danger Tours, followed with a great dinner at Two Friends Patio and finish it off with a couple of pina coladas watching sunset at Ft. Taylor. Thank Russell you just officially made me home sick. Right now I think Chuck is about the smartest person I know. All he has to do is drive over to the docks and then a two hour fast cat trip to Key West. :crying::crying::crying:

Now I'm thinking of Stone Crab Claws and cocktails at the Sunset Bar at Keys Fisheries in Marathon. Damn, I gotta make a call here...............I hear Howard Livingston in the back of my head singing 'Livin on key west time...........I'm going crazzzzzzzzzy!!
