Folks, our hard-working library manager [profile]TomW[/profile] has just completed a major cleanup and reorganization of our library. You can find the new forum HERE. The best place to start is the INDEX THREAD.

Over the next few days, I'll be editing various links around the site to point from the old to the new library.

Tom will probably chime in here with some comments, and you are all welcome to add your thoughts also.

I like what has been done! Great work and lots of organization!

What about taking all the casting stuff and making it a catagory of it's own? Many people go to the library looking for that stuff and right now it looks like it is covered in a couple different subcatagories. I think there is enough that it could survive on it's own.

Just my $0.02. No criticism!
 
Thank you for your work on the new library. It seems much easier to navigate now. I have just one reservation. There used to be an index type page that listed every article by title. I found that page useful when I was looking for something I had already seen and wanted to reference again but didn't know which thread it was under. With the improved organization, there will probably be less need for the page but I still think it would be helpful sometimes. Are there plans to recreate it?
 
Thanks for the comments about the new library. I consider it a "work in progress", and will be continually working to make improvements, so please keep the suggestions coming.

Now, most important thing in any library is CONTENT! Please consider helping your fellow Penturner and Create/Recommend CONTENT!

We are in the initial stages of the Meet the Members project, so stay tuned!

Tom, the new layout is wonderful. The photos for each article is a fantastic addition. That alone is enough to give you raves but you also made each link open in its own page so now we can jump from one page to another without having to go back through all the other pages we have open.

Jeff, thank you for giving Tom the space to create such a great addition to our addiction. The two of you along with all your assistants have made a huge improvement in the Library. Many, MANY thank yous to you all.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am continually looking for ways to improve the library experience. No promises on a re-created index, but that option is not dead.
