Hi All,
Just stumbled across this forum and I thought it would be a good place to hang out a bit.
Personal wise, I am what I call semi-retired. Sold our business and moved out of the state. Been married about 47 years to my high school sweetheart. No kids. I enjoy reading, old cars, shooting muzzleloaders, camping and such.
Work wise, I was an accountant and data processing guy who got tired of the silliness of being gainfully employed and bought a company in a field I enjoyed, muzzleloading guns. Worked that for over 20 years, then sold it and moved to the central CA coast. Set up another little business making powder horns and selling polished cow horns on the internet. Seems to have worked OK so far.
A few years ago, I discovered pen making and thought it a terrific little hobby that blended well with what I was already doing. Lots of lathe work. Of course, I do like to use cow horn as a pen body, rather than wood.
